I JUST THREW MY LIFE AWAY

here's a closer look at the L'ANTIETAM "LIFE/DEATH" zine that i put together to release with our double ep gatefold "DARK BREW/ROCK BOTTOM". the above photo is the cover when folded into 8.5"x5.5". and the below photo is the cover when unfolded into 8.5"x11".

when unfolded entirely, you can see that there are actually two parts to the zine. the left side is 24 page photo zine. mostly live photos of l'antietam but also some candid photos of us at practice or partying.

the right side is 36 pages telling the history of L'ANTIETAM, which was written by me. it took me over 6 months to collect all the information to complete our story, and it was a headache, but it came out really well. after all the stress and disbelief i had in myself that i could throw this thing together, it actually was completed and printed for our record release show may 26th.

these will be available online soon with the "DARK BREW/ROCK BOTTOM" 2x7" and some new L'ANTIETAM and BRAVO FUCKING BRAVO tshirts i designed. i'll obviously post up when the shop is running. which should be very soon.

DARK BREW/ROCK BOTTOM

so the "DARK BREW/ROCK BOTTOM" double ep gatefold by l'antietam made it to our drummer, rj's house today!! so we now have the copies that we will be selling on may 26th 2012 at the now denial 10 year anniversary party! this is the official record release show for this release! it took us over two years to put them out. and these are the last recordings l'antietam put down in a studio as an active band. the LIFE/DEATH zine i've been working on will be included for free with every record sold. i designed the poster above to help promote the release. this is going to be an amazing day! don't miss out if you're in the boston area!!!

this is the cover for the L'ANTIETAM zine "LIFE/DEATH" that i've spent the last 6 months putting together. this zine will be packaged with the "DARK BREW/ROCK BOTTOM" 2x7" that's going to be available for the first time on may 26th in boston! the DARK BREW/ROCK BOTTOM EPs are the last recordings from L'ANTIETAM, so this zine is a special added bonus to go with the records. the first pressing is limited to 100 copies and will be split up between the U.S. and european releases. it includes a written, as well as a photo history of the band. after the first 100 copies are sold with the records, the second press will be sold by itself online. see L'ANTIETAM live for the what could be the last time on may 26th. hope to see you then!
